Do you do fence repairs?
No, we only do new fence installations. All our fences come with a 6-month guarantee and all our workmanship is to Australian Safety Standards.
Do you install timber fencing or colour bond fencing
No, we only work with glass, aluminium and steel.
Do you provide quotes over the telephone?
If you have plans with measurements or another quote, we can give you an estimate over the phone.
Do you provide a safety certification for new pool fence installations?
No – as we believe this is a conflict of interest. However we can provide you with the relevant form 15. You will then need to book an independent certifier to come out and inspect your new pool fencing and issue the appropriate certification. All our pool fences comply with current regulations which means you should not have any trouble obtaining a certificate. If your pool fencing requires special installation, we will advise you to get certification criteria beforehand so we can make sure the installation is done accordingly.
Do you need a safety certification for new balustrading?

Can my pool gate open inwards towards the pool?
No. All pool gates must open outwards away from the water and must self-close within 3 seconds to meet the Australian Standards.

No. All our products are manufactured from aluminium. Aluminium is a light weight metal that is resistant to outdoor conditions.
Do you supply and install?
Yes we supply and install. When we supply only, we require your measurements to be sent to us. We always recommend you install your posts first then measure the distance between your posts. We can then manufacture you panels exactly to your requirements. We can also install your fence/gate/infill panels etc taking the guess work out of “WILL IT FIT?”

All of our work is carried out by our fully trained staff to ensure a professional job.  With over 30 years in the industry, our reputation is built on quality and service.
Is it hard to keep Glass Pool panels clean?
All products placed in an external environment require some form of cleaning & maintenance. Treating the glass with a wax such as those found in car wash detergents not only help keep your glass clean but also reduce the amount of times the glass needs to be cleaned. The glass can be cleaned with a bucket of hot soapy water (using a car wash detergent with a wax additive) and a soft bristled broom, hosed off and left to dry.
What is the standard height of Pool Fencing?
The Minimum height for any pool fence is 1200mm from any ground surface. Any horizontal surfaces or protrusions within a 1200mm (1.2 metres) radius from the top of the fence greater than 10mm (half the size of a 5 cent piece) can constitute a foot hold therefore requiring removal of the protrusion or additional height in the fence to compensate. Under normal circumstances increasing the height of the pool fence can increase the safety aspect of your pool fencing but in reality the standard was developed with a 5 year old child in mind and no matter what height the pool fence is, older children will get over the fence if they want to and pool safety education for older children would be a better option.
Which is better; stainless steel or powder coated?
Although stainless steel has a luxurious and elegant appeal, it is more suited to an internal application where it cannot be affected by the elements. All stainless steel products installed in an external application will tarnish over time and require some form of cleaning or maintenance. This surface rust, also known as Tea-Staining, does not affect the structural adequacy of the product used and tends to be accelerated in certain conditions such as coastal regions. Powder Coating on the other hand has over time and through newer technologies become a far better alternative for an external application. Standard Powder Coating finishes now come standard with a 7 year manufacturers warranty and in some cases can be procured with 15 – 25 year warranties. Powder Coating comes in many colours and can be cleaned very easily with a mild detergent in the same fashion as cleaning a car. Detergents with a wax additive such as car wash detergents can not only protect the painted surface but also help to keep the painted surface and glass cleaner for longer.
What is the fully frameless glass pool fencing?
Frameless pool fencing is the perfect way to provide safety around your pool without disrupting any of the aesthetics of your pool environment.  Frameless pool fencing uses 12mm toughened glass to build a protective fence around your pool area. Even though frameless pool fencing is a more expensive option than semi-frameless glass or aluminium, if you can afford it, it’s worth spending a bit extra to preserve a beautiful view or custom landscaping.
What is semi-frameless glass pool fencing?
Semi-frameless pool fencing can give you almost as good a view and look as frameless pool fencing but at a more affordable price. The most common type of glass used for pool fencing is toughened 8mm thick glass. Semi-frameless fencing uses aluminium framing for the upright posts. These posts can be square or round and powder coated with a colour finish to fit with your outdoor décor. Glass panels are available in various sizes to suit different design requirements.
Can fencing be attached to a timber deck?
Yes, for tubular fencing the posts will require special base plates to facilitate attachment to the timber decking. We require bracing beneath the decking to ensure strength to support posts. Any movement of the timber in the future can cause the fence to move.
Do you have a product to protect the glass?
Yes. ClearShield is perfect for glass pool fencing. It will protect against corrosion and etching from contaminants including sea salt, salt and chlorinated water, bird droppings and pollution. Untreated glass is porous and as a result it absorbs contaminants and pollution which causes deterioration and discolouration. This deterioration etches and corrodes the surface making cleaning more frequent and difficult. ClearShield seals the porosity and prevents this from occurring.
